Hundreds of Leeds households benefitting from cheaper bills this winter, thanks to council green scheme.

More than 900 low-income households in Leeds are benefiting from cheaper energy bills and comfier homes this winter, thanks to around £9.5 million of green upgrades installed free-of-charge through a Leeds City Council scheme.

Major delivery milestone for Morley Town Deal as the first spades hit the ground in Hembrigg and Dartmouth parks.

Work has started on the delivery of the first of six Morley Town Deal improvement projects.

The projects to redevelop Hembrigg Park and Dartmouth Park mark the first of many spade-in-the-ground milestones in delivering the Morley Town Deal plans.

Leeds City Council increases Homes for Ukraine ‘thank you’ payment to £500 a month

To recognise the tremendous support that has been shown to Ukrainian guests over the past six months, Leeds City Council has today announced it will increase the Homes for Ukraine ‘thank you’ payment from £350 to £500 per month between December 2022 and March 2023.
