Due to the Met Office red weather warning that is in force today (Monday 18 July 2022) Leeds City Council has taken the decision that the planned consultation events for ‘Connecting West Leeds’ and ‘Transforming Travel between Leeds & Wakefield - A61’ will be rescheduled.

Residents and businesses are being asked for views on proposals to invest up to £22.5 million in two key roads connecting Leeds and Wakefield – the A61 and the A639.
