All square this summer as vibrant new events programme announced

New look City Square is set to host an exciting outdoor events programme this summer, it was announced today.

The square, which has been transformed by one of the city’s most ambitious ever transport projects, will be the setting for a brand new Thor’s Tipi bar, monthly artisan market and a line-up of family-friendly activities as well a big screen showing some of the season’s biggest sporting highlights.

Final chance to feed back on issues along Woodhouse Lane

The council and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority are urging people to have their say on travel or place related issues between the city centre and the Hyde Park and Woodhouse areas of Leeds, before the Woodhouse Lane Gateway consultation closes on 19 February.
