Steve Phillip, who lost his son Jordan, of Leeds, to suicide in 2019, will be one of the Leeds baton bearers on the day. He is pictured hugging fellow Baton of Hope UK co-founder Mike McCarthy, during the 2023 tour.

The new play barn at Temple Newsam's home farm will open to the public on 20 September 2025.

The toddler room at Temple Newsam's play barn offers soft play, a separate seating area and a dedicated sensory hut.

Entrance to the play barn is included in the Home Farm ticket price and play sessions must be booked in advance to ensure a good experience for all. Each session lasts for 90 minutes and tickets give all-day access to the farm.

The room for up to 12-year-olds at Temple Newsam's play barn offers big slides, puzzles to solve and castles to climb.
