Leeds Town Hall marks Earth Hour

Climate change

The Town Hall clock tower will be plunged into darkness this weekend to mark Earth Hour.

The lights around the city centre landmark clock will be switched off from 8.30pm on Saturday 19 March.

The world-wide event is a visual marker of commitment to tackle climate change.

The town hall clock switch off is symbolic of the council’s efforts to improve its environmental impact.
