Leeds United’s World Cup winning heroes are being remembered by the city’s librarians as England's current crop prepare to kick off their bid for glory this summer.
An inspirational photograph of 1966 legends including Jack Charlton and Norman Hunter being welcomed back to Leeds after The Three Lions’ historic triumph is going on display at Leeds Central Library alongside a book featuring their signatures alongside other Elland Road icons.

Full steam ahead for city’s historic loco project after major funding boost
Plans to showcase the city’s historic collection of locomotives are on the right track after being awarded a major funding boost, it was announced today.
The locomotive shed at Leeds Industrial Museum, which houses an incredible array of historic, Leeds-built machines, has been closed since being badly damaged by the Boxing Day Floods of 2015.

Response to the Southampton Tragedy and Appreciation for Community Support
