We’re forecast a Mini Breeze!

Breeze launch their series of Mini Breeze events tomorrow (Friday 24 July) at Springhead Park in Rothwell. The events will take place throughout July and August finishing on Friday 21 August at Holbeck Moor.

Mini Breeze, a small-scale version of Breeze on Tour, is hosted in parks by local communities and funded this year by the Youth Activities Fund. It offers 0-19 year olds something to do during the school holidays. With arts, crafts, inflatables and media workshops all free to use. Refreshment stalls and possibly one or two other paid activities will also be available as well (please note money is required to use these facilities).

All Breeze events are for 0 to 19 year olds, who will receive free entry with a Breezecard (adults free). To find out how to your card visit www.breezeleeds.org/breezecard

Breeze on Tour will be held throughout August. The dates are as followed, Armley Park Saturday 8 and Sunday 9, Cross Flatts Park in Beeston Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13, and Temple Newsam Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20.

These events will accommodate several thousand a day and give young people the opportunity to explore various activities. Play, Sport, Challenge, Info, and Art and Performance are the six zones Breeze is split in to, offering something for everyone!

What can be expected? Arts, crafts and multimedia workshops, sports activities, information, a performance tent and a large range of inflatable activities such as obstacle courses, rock climbers, challenge games and sporting inflatables. Don’t worry! There will also be an under 5 play section too.
