Councillor Judith Blake, Leader of Leeds City Council said:

“Millennium Square is a superb venue for events like this which bring the public together for a shared experience and I’m sure there will be a fantastic atmosphere at these film screenings.

“Films are also a key part of people’s cultural identity and putting them on the big screen is another example of us putting culture and the arts right at the heart of life in Leeds.

“It has always been our ambition for the square to be a place for the people of Leeds to enjoy and the varied programme of events we are holding this summer really does offer something for everyone.”

Tickets for all film screenings go on sale on Wednesday, May 25 and will be available to purchase online at www.leeds.gov.uk/filmhouse or in person / by telephone from City Centre Box Office in The Carriageworks on Millennium Square (0113 376 0318).
