Leeds Industrial Museum store clean: Experts have been hard at work carrying out a detailed inventory of Leeds Industrial Museum's storage area this week, which contains hundreds of objects collected, donated and stored over several generations.
Among the vast selection  is a beautiful catalogue of corporate Christmas cards and calendars printed in the 1950s, vibrant steel signs advertising vintage businesses alongside a series of metal sheets carrying the adorable designs for Leeds-made toffee tins.
Also found among the shelves is a fascinating collection exploring the history of Kirkstall Forge including a photograph of the Kirkstall Forge Home Guard in full uniform.

European Junior Championships July 2025: Five swimmers got selected from Leeds for the European Junior Championships this year, more than from any other programme and the highest number Leeds has had selected since 2008.

Victorian sheet music: Librarians are calling on the city’s modern-day musicians and singers to help them bring an incredible collection of vintage sheet music to life for the first time in more than a century.
The array of late 19th and early 20th century songs is part of a vast collection at Leeds Central Library, which includes a combination of well-known musical classics alongside forgotten songs penned by local composers.
