The Band- “I lost all my work, when Covid hit, as I was just an external assistant in the care sector, so I decided to work with Leeds City Council on a course for Instruction to care, so that I could work full time in the system. I missed working in the care environment, which is why I took the course, so afterwards I went straight into a care home, and in May 2020 I was working there full time. It has been so hard and quite scary for all vulnerable people, so I felt grateful actually that I have been able to help them through this time. Being in the band has helped me so much through all this turmoil, and in fact I took what we do, and used it in my day job with music therapy, so it’s been great really to be able to use our music in this way.”
