Political make-up of Leeds City Council following local elections

As a result of the local elections in Leeds, the make-up of the city council is as follows:

Overall political composition:

Labour [LAB]: 63 seats (no change)

Conservative [CON]: 19 seats (up from 18)

Lib Dem [LD]: 9 seats (no change)

Morley Borough Independents [MBI]: 5 seats (no change)

Green (Gr) 3 seats (no change)

Ward changes: Calverley and Farsley: CON gain from IND.
