Tour Maker 2019 - Full registration now open
Press release sent on behalf of Welcome to Yorkshire
Welcome to Yorkshire and A.S.O are thrilled to be hosting the fifth edition of the Tour de Yorkshire between 2nd - 5th May 2019. Last year a record 2.6 million spectators lined the route and £98 million was generated for the Yorkshire economy. The race is now widely regarded as one of cycling's most dramatic and best supported events and simply would not be possible without the help of our incredible team of volunteer Tour Makers.
We're delighted to let you know that full registration to become a 2019 Tour Maker is now open, with five different roles available to apply for. Before you submit your application, please refer to the FAQ page on the Tour de Yorkshire website here to see an overview of the roles.
This year we are using a brand new online system called Rosterfy to communicate with all our Tour Makers. After completing your registration you'll be directed to your own personal 'volunteer portal' where you can input any required information, amend your profile details and access updates from us. You will need to set up a password for the portal. Once you have registered you will receive an automated email. If it doesn't appear in your inbox, please check your junk folder.
Working once again with our regional police forces, training sessions for all roles will be held over the coming months, and we look forward to seeing you there. The Tour Maker Team
