The annual landlords’ conference returns to the city for eighth year

Leeds City Council will host the eighth annual Leeds Landlords’ Conference on 28 November amid a busy time for the private rented sector nationally.

Leading names in the Leeds Private Rental Housing Sector together with council bosses will be at the event to discuss the future of quality housing with landlords.

Places are going fast for this free event being held at Mercure Leeds Parkway hotel on 28 November. Landlords and agents are encouraged to sign-up now to take advantage of hearing how Leeds City Council is working with landlords in the private rented sector to meet the growing need for affordable high quality homes.

The event will feature contributions from the Department for Work and Pensions and Residential Landlords Association, together with key speakers from Leeds City Council and a range of stalls from private sector industries and LCC partner organisations.

Key areas of the conference will focus on the impacts of Universal Credit, new Energy Efficiency Standards regulation, recent trends and issues affecting the private rented sector market, as well as updates on the Leeds Rental Standard.
