Statement regarding tragic fatal car crash in Horsforth

In response to the awful news today (Saturday 30 June 2018) around the fatal car crash that took place in Horsforth this morning, the leader of Leeds CIty Council has issued the following statement.

Councillor Judith Blake, leader of Leeds City Council said:

“Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of those who have tragically died today in this awful incident.

“Horsforth is a tight knit community, and we know this news will have shocked everyone in the town."

“We will be working closely with the local school to ensure pupils and their families are offered all the help, support and advice they need during this terribly sad time.”
