Statement regarding Finsbury Park attack

Leader of Leeds City Council, Councillor Judith Blake said:

“In a week where communities in Leeds and across the country have celebrated togetherness in the memory of Jo Cox MP, last night’s incident in Finsbury Park was truly shocking and saddening, and our thoughts are with all those affected.

“Jo’s message of unity and us having far more in common with each other than that which divides us remains as important as ever at this time, and this will continue to underpin our own work in communities across Leeds.”
