Statement from the Lord Mayor of Leeds following the Leeds Rhinos Grand Final victory

Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Judith Chapman, said:“On behalf of the city I would like to congratulate the Leeds Rhinos on their tremendous victory in the Grand Final tonight and on their treble winning season which is an unbelievable achievement.

“The Rhinos are fantastic ambassadors for Leeds, and it will be amazing to see so many supporters tomorrow welcome back the team and management to the city at a special event held at the first direct arena, which is sure to be unforgettable.”
