Statement from the leader of Leeds City Council regarding Wendy Fawell and Courtney Boyle

Councillor Judith Blake, leader of Leeds City Council said:

“It is absolutely heart breaking news that two more Leeds residents lost their lives in the horrific attack in Manchester on Monday night. My heart goes out to the families and friends of Wendy Fawell from Otley, a former member of staff at St Oswald’s primary school and Leeds Beckett student Courtney Boyle. On behalf of the whole city and the council I would like to offer our deepest condolences. Our thoughts are with all of the families and friends of those who have lost loved ones as well as with all those affected by the attack.”
