Have your say on proposed ‘Go Ape’ aerial adventure course in Roundhay Park

Leeds City Council is seeking the views of the public regarding a proposal for an aerial adventure course in a landmark city park.

This follows a report in October this year, which in outlining exciting refurbishment plans for Tropical World, Lotherton Hall’s Bird Garden and Home Farm at Temple Newsam, also revealed details, subject to further discussions and planning permission, for a future ‘Go Ape’ Activity concession within Roundhay Park.

Please note that all comments on email will be shared with representatives of Go Ape. People are asked to submit their comments before 7 January 2017.

Representatives from Go Ape will be present at Ram Wood in Roundhay Park on Friday 16 December between 10:00am and 4:00pm and also be available at the Oakwood Farmers Market in Roundhay on Saturday 17 December, to discuss the details of this proposal.

“Since the suggestion for a ‘Go Ape’ adventure course in Roundhay Park was announced in October, there has been a lot of people who wanted to engage in the consultation.

“We were keen from the very start that everyone who wished to do so would be given the opportunity to offer their thoughts on the idea. I’m really pleased that the consultation is now open and that the proposed plans around the initiative are available to the public.”
