Leeds Valentine’s Fair at Millennium Square
Get ready for half-term fun as the beloved family-friendly funfair returns to Victoria Gardens, Cookridge Street, and Millennium Square! Thrill-seekers and little ones alike will find plenty to enjoy, and food stalls will be serving classic funfair favourites.

Love Birds at Lotherton
A celebration of our feathered friends! Spot native birds around the estate using a spotter's guide, find out about things you can do at home to help wild birds at this time of year, and learn about the amazing birds wat Wildlife World - including flamingos, penguins, owls, and emus!

Year of the Horse at Abbey House Museum
Visit Abbey House Museum and celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse. See their Victorian streets decorated in celebration and spot equine friends, lanterns, and dragons!

Love Birds in Kirkstall Abbey
A week long celebration of our beautiful native British birds in a fun family trail around the abbey ruins. As you search around the abbey to spot felt swans, decoy ducks or knitted owls you could also spot the abbey's family of kestrels, a sparrow hawk, or even a magnificent red kite circling the cloister.

Perfect Partners at Tropical World
Celebrate animal couples this February and find out who make Perfect Partners! Enjoy a fabulous family outing to Tropical World, where the indoor zoo is warm and cosy whatever the weather. Take part in the Hidden Hearts Hunt, keeper talks, craft activities, and much more.

Treasures of Temple Newsam Farm
Pop along to Temple Newsam's working farm to meet the first of their new born lambs! The Farm, Play Barn and Cafe will be open every day of the week during half term, and there will be self-led crafts in the Joiner's shop.

Mystery Matinees at Leeds Industrial Museum

Half Term Store Tours at Leeds Discovery Centre
Leeds Discovery Centre is home to over 1.3 million object in our collection, most of which are not currently on display. Their purpose built museum storage and conservation facility holds everything from toucans to telephones, meteorites and masks - there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Night Time Drawing Workshop at Leeds Art Gallery
Join artist Sarah-Jane Mason to make invisible line drawings with wax, and apply night time colours to reveal your drawings. Inspired by the new 'Don't Let's Ask For The Moon...' exhibiton at the gallery, this artist-led activity is designed to make you think about light and dark and how it feels to not be able to see what you are doing.

Hippo-Platypus Family Day at Leeds City Museum
From platypuses to hippopotami, discover the weird and wonderful world of animals with activities for all ages. Enjoy a range of activities, including: animal crafts, animal trail, animal explorer talks (must be prebooked), animal maths activities, face painting, and more.

Temple Newsam Home Farm and Play Barn
Explore a new indoor adventure play facility at Temple Newsam Home Farm, perfect for families looking for fun whatever the weather. Set in the beautifully restored 100-year-old cow byre, the Play Barn offers: two exciting play zones for toddlers and children up to 12, a cosy café serving drinks and tasty snacks, farm themed gift shop, and the best bit - under 3s go free!
