Don’t miss out on chance to sponsor one of Leeds City Council’s six public bonfires
Businesses from Leeds and beyond are being offered the opportunity to sponsor one of Leeds’ fantastic six public bonfires on November 5.
In what is always a spectacular occasion in the city’s calendar, free community bonfires will once again be held at Roundhay Park, East End Park, Springhead Park in Rothwell, Woodhouse Moor, Middleton Park and Bramley Park, which in total attract approximately 200,000 visitors every year. Featuring a 12 metre high bonfire and stunning firework display, Roundhay Park’s bonfire is the largest in the city, enticing approximately 70,000 people of all ages to enjoy the festivities, and up to 25,000 at each of the other five venues.
As well as providing an opportunity for businesses to support their local community bonfire, a range of promotional and advertising opportunities are also provided as part of each sponsorship package. To discuss how your business or company can be involved in the city’s November 5 celebrations, please contact Julian Cooke on 0113 3957400 or by email at: parks.sponsorship@leeds.gov.uk
Councillor Debra Coupar, Leeds City Council’s executive member for communities said:
“There really is nowhere better to experience the magic of bonfire night than at one of the six public events we hold in Leeds each year, and we would be delighted to discuss with businesses how they might support the bonfire and fireworks displays through sponsorship.
“We already have a very successful partnership with the White Rose Shopping Centre who has sponsored the Middleton Park bonfire for several years now, and we are looking for other community-minded businesses to support the bonfires in other areas of the city.
“A variety of sponsorship packages are available, and with thousands of visitors attending all of our bonfires, including usually around 70,000 alone at Roundhay Park, this is a really great way to publicise your business to people of all ages.”
