Discover the delights of ‘Amazing Animals’ at Temple Newsam Home Farm

A wonderful array of exotic animals and birds are once again set to take centre stage at a popular Leeds farm next week.

Held from Monday 14 August – Friday 18 August, visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of family-fun activities and events at Temple Newsam Home Farm as part of ‘Amazing Animals’.

On offer will include the chance to experience exotic animal encounters, bird of prey displays and pony rides in the paddocks at only £2 a ride. In what is something not to be missed, mystery animal visitors from the city’s much loved Tropical World will also be making an appearance.

Also available to visitors alongside the ‘Amazing Animals event will be the daily delights of Temple Newam Farm. Boasting over 400 sheep, poultry goats and pigs, along with an interesting mixture of recreated workshops and exhibitions, also don’t miss out on the chance to visit The Stable Courtyard Tea Room serving a selection of scrumptious light meals and snacks and Mrs Pawson’s Shop in the stable courtyard, which is a great place to buy Yorkshire produce.

Admission to ‘Amazing Animals’ is included in general admission price at Home Farm.

Adult Farm entry is priced at £3.80 for adults, £2.50 for children and under 5 years are free. Visitors are asked to note that there may be some small charges for selected ‘Amazing Animals’ events and activities.

A special family ticket is also available priced at £10.20 (two adults and three children up to the age of 16 *excluding children under 5 who are free)

“With a variety of fun themed activities on offer and so much to see and do around the farm, this promises to be a great day out for all the family during the school summer holidays.”
