Civic leaders to attend Victoria Gardens for minute's silence in memory of Tunisia victims

The Lord Mayor of Leeds Councillor Judith Chapman and the Leader of Leeds City Council Councillor Judith Blake will be at Victoria Gardens in the city centre at 12 noon tomorrow (Friday) to observe the national minute’s silence in memory of the victims of last week’s attack in Tunisia.

Lord Mayor of Leeds Councillor Judith Chapman said:

“As the nation comes together to remember all those who have suffered as a result of last week’s shocking attack, I would ask for everyone in Leeds to pause at 12 noon to pay our respects to the victims from our city and country. Anyone who wishes to join us at Victoria Gardens is most welcome.”
