One of the city’s longest-serving foster carers who has given more than 100 children a better start in life is calling on others to follow in her footsteps.

A new strategy outlining Leeds’s commitment to strengthening social cohesion across the city is set to be presented to council leaders on 11 February.

Senior councillors will next week be asked to approve a five-year strategy designed to guide Leeds Kirkgate Market successfully into the 2030s – and beyond.
