Views invited on review of Leeds polling arrangements

Views are being invited on a review of polling arrangements for the Leeds City Council area and the governance of all parish and town councils.

The joint review of districts, places and polling stations will not affect Leeds City Council’s boundary, the boundaries of its eight parliamentary constituencies or its 33 city wards.

What may be affected are the venues where voting takes place, the catchment areas and arrangements for town and parish councils.

Maps and other information are also available for inspection by appointment at the Leeds City Council electoral services office at the Town Hall by calling 0113- 395 2858 or emailing electors@leeds.gov.uk

Representations should be made no later than 15 April 2013 and the council will publish its initial proposals on 24 June, followed by further consultation until September 16 with a final notice of joint review to be published on 25 November 2013.
