Resurfacing of East Parade/ King Street to begin next week

Resurfacing work on the carriageway of East Parade/ King Street in Leeds City Centre is set to begin on Monday 6 February.

Work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 8pm and 5.30am for a 10-day period on Monday to Thursday nights only. Both East Parade and King Street will remain open to traffic during the works although varying lane closures will be in place. Several roads both off and leading on to East Parade/King Street will also be closed during some phases of the works.

In order to minimise disruption to bus services, nearby Infirmary Street will not be closed until after 23:30pm.
