New fitness equipment for Leeds leisure centre

A Leeds leisure centre is set to get a host of new fitness equipment including a range of functional training technology.

Armley Leisure Centre's gym will close from December 1 to December 4 whilst equipment is replaced with new Technogym machines.

The new machines will include a range of modern cardio vascular, resistance and functional movement equipment.

The new equipment is designed to be used by people of all fitness levels.

Councillor Lucinda Yeadon, Leeds City Council’s executive member for digital and creative technologies, culture and skills, said:

“This equipment will be a really exciting new addition to Armley Leisure Centre that will give people in the area an extra incentive to stay fit and active with the help of some of the latest technology.”

Customers who attend Armley Leisure Centre for the gym are advised to attend Holt Park, Scott Hall, Pudsey or Morley Leisure Centres during the short closure period.
