Leeds City Council warns residents of fake recycling competition





Leeds City Council is aware of scam which is currently
running which involves residents of Leeds receiving a call supposedly from a
member of Leeds City Council staff stating they have won £100 as part of
recycling competition.







The council wants to stress that this competition is a scam
and is not something the council is endorsing in any way.






If you are asked for your bank details on a call like this,
hang up immediately and alert the council on 0113
2224406.
