Don’t miss out on Lord Mayor’s Golf Day next month

Golfers of all abilities will have the chance next month to line-up as a team and aim for the top of the leaderboard, as part of the official Leeds Lord Mayor’s Golf Day.

Held on 11 May 2017, teams of four will along with playing 18-holes at Wike Ridge at Leeds Golf Centre, also be able to compete on the day for a range of goodie bag prizes and test their skills in fun challenges. On offer will include a putting competition, ‘Beat the Pro’ and Indoor Par 3 simulator event.

In aid of the Lord Mayor’s chosen charities this year, Heart Research UK and Epilepsy Action, lunch and dinner will also be provided on the day. The cost of entry per team is £300 in which is always a fantastic and enjoyable occasion both on the course and in the clubhouse afterwards.

The Lord Mayor of Leeds Councillor Gerry Harper, said:

“The annual Lord Mayor’s Golf Day is always great fun, and we are pulling out all the stops to make this year’s event the best yet for everyone taking part on the day.

“Held in support of my two chosen charities Heart Research UK and Epilepsy Action, we would like both men’s and women’s team to enter and take part. Not only is there the traditional 18-hole challenge, on offer will also be the chance to win goodie bags and take part in a range of fun competitions."
