Council Applies For Valley Road Injunction

Following complaints about a development and potential breaches of planning permission at a site in Valley Road, Leeds City Council today issued an injunction to the owner of the property.

Councillor Peter Gruen, Leeds City Council’s Executive Member for Neighbourhoods, Planning and Support Services:

“Leeds City Council take breaches of planning and unlawful developments extremely seriously. Due to the seriousness of these breaches we have acted promptly to seek an injunction to restrain occupation, further excavation and further demolition. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and are grateful to those who have brought the problem to our attention.”
