A Leeds City Council public consultation regarding a proposal for an aerial adventure course at Roundhay Park has been extended.

Anyone wishing to comment on the possible introduction of the ‘Go Ape’ concession at Roundhay Park can do so via email until Tuesday, January 17 at: goapeconsultation@leeds.gov.uk

Details regarding the Go Ape proposal can be viewed via the council’s website at the following address: http://www.leeds.gov.uk/leisure/Pages/Roundhay-Park.aspx

Please note that all comments on email will be shared with representatives of Go Ape.

Councillor Lucinda Yeadon, Leeds City Council’s executive member for the environment and sustainability, said:

“We are committed to giving everyone the opportunity to put forward their views on these proposals. I have been working closely with ward councillors and Friends of Roundhay Park to make sure that everyone has the chance to have their say.

“With this in mind, we have taken the decision to extend the public consultation until 17 January to ensure especially as the busy Christmas period is now over, that everyone who wishes to do so can offer their thoughts on the idea.”
