Lord Mayor to lead minutes silence as a mark of respect for the victims of the London attack

Tomorrow, Tuesday 6th June at 11am on Victoria Gardens, the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Jane Dowson will lead a minutes silence as a mark of respect for the victims of the London attack. 

As a council and a city we offer our support to the people of London and our thoughts and sympathies are with all those affected both in the UK and abroad. The flags on Civic Hall and Town Hall will remain at half-mast until Wednesday morning as a mark of respect for the victims and their families. A book of condolence is available at the Portland Crescent entrance to the Civic Hall for those who wish to sign it.
