Grenfell Tower minute's silence to be held today

A minute’s silence for Grenfell Tower Today, Monday 19 June 11am -Victoria Gardens

Along with the rest of the United Kingdom, Leeds will observe a minute’s silence at 11am on Monday 19 June in remembrance of those who lost their lives and all those affected by the fire at Grenfell Tower. This will be prior to the Flag Ceremony for Armed Forces Day, which is also being held on Monday at Victoria Gardens.

As a city, we are very keen to show our support for those who have been involved and affected by the disaster and will be holding a minute silence in Victoria Gardens, close to the war memorial, on the Headrow, at 11am on Monday 19 June. Those wishing to show their support are welcome to attend.
